Our project for 200 chairs in Abu Dhabi by February 2024 with this supplier took an unfortunate turn due to unfulfilled promises. Despite choosing them based on commitments to deliver two samples in 7 days and the full order before the Chinese New Year (CNY), we faced setbacks. After promptly paying for the samples, we learned after a week that while the samples were on track, the production of 200 chairs wouldn't meet the CNY deadline. This unexpected setback and the supplier's failure to confirm production capacity led to wasted time and missed opportunities. Efforts to secure an alternative supplier during the critical CNY period proved futile, exacerbating the impact of the initial delay on our project. In hindsight, choosing this supplier was a costly mistake, cautioning others to thoroughly assess reliability before committing. Our review serves as a brief but crucial warning, emphasizing the need for diligence in supplier selection to avoid the repercussions we faced.
